Our AT THE ALTAR t-shirt is based off the scripture Genesis 22:9-12! In Genesis it tells about God's promise to Abraham, His promise being that Abraham would become the father of many nations. Except, Abraham and his Wife were having many troubles conceiving for many, many, MANY years! Abraham knew God's promise for him and had faith. The promise came true and Abraham had a son.
Abraham had surrendered his life to follow and put his faith into God and His promise for him leaving everything he had behind. Then, God asks Abraham to sacrifice his son at an altar. His son which was the promise he waited for many years to come true. Willingly Abraham went to lay his promise down for God. Our t-shirt representing that we too want to surrender our lives to Jesus, not only our lives but anything He may ask willingly at the altar just like Abraham.
